Mega Millions increases to $44 million

No one matched all six winning numbers in Tuesday night's Mega Millions multistate lottery drawing and the grand prize grew to an estimated $44 million.

The winning numbers in Tuesday night's drawing were: 02- 17- 20- 26 and 48, and the Mega Ball number was 12.

In Illinois, the closest anyone came to the jackpot were the two people who matched four of the first five numbers and the Mega Ball, for a $10,000 prize each, according to the Illinois Lottery.

The next Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for Friday night.
