Mega Millions jackpot increases to $48 million

The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing climbed to $48 million after no players matched all six numbers in Tuesday night's game.

Players in Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Virginia matched the first five numbers -- 13, 28, 39, 50 and 55 -- but missed the Mega Ball of 10. Those players won $250,000 each.

Two Georgia players matched four of the first five numbers along with the Mega Ball and won $10,000 each.

The multistate lottery is also played in California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Texas and Washington state.
