One ticket sold in SC won $259 million Powerball jackpot

One ticket sold in South Carolina matched all six numbers in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, worth approximately $259 million, lottery officials said. More than 1.8 million people won smaller prizes.

The winning numbers are 14-24-31-43-51 with the Powerball of 27.

The last Powerball jackpot to be won in Arizona happened in January 2007, when a couple cashed in a $15 million dollar ticket.

The highest Powerball jackpot -- $365 million -- was won by a group of 8 co-workers at the Con Agra Foods plant in Lincoln, Nebraska, in 2006.
