WATTS — Station 2, a small convenience store in this Adair County community, is earning a reputation as a Powerball powerhouse after selling a $600,000 winning ticket only two weeks after selling a $200,000 winning ticket.
Station 2 is located at 137 Oklahoma 59.
The winning ticket correctly matched the first five numbers, missing only the Powerball, but with the Power Play option the total prize won was $600,000.
The owner of the winning ticket has 180 days from the Dec. 8 drawing to claim their prize at Lottery Headquarters in Oklahoma City.
Edward Proctor, of Springdale, Ark., was the $200,000 winner from the Nov. 24 Powerball drawing. Proctor’s ticket was purchased at Station 2 in Watts.
