September 27, 2006 FOND DU LAC, Wis. - Ma and Pa's Grocery Express in Fond du Lac is busier than usual Wednesday morning.
A big tent has been set up for the dozens of Sargento cheese workers who will publicly claim their huge Powerball prize. At least 75 of the 100 winners are expected at a news conference at the store where the ticket was sold.
The 100 Sargento workers won a Powerball jackpot worth 208 (M) million dollars two months ago.
State law requires a court order to split the prize. The lottery is expecting one within several weeks. Each person can pick either the lump sum or installments.
If a winner picks the lump sum, he or she will get 600-thousand to 700-thousand dollars after taxes. The workers will get their cash within ten days of the court order.
