CONCORD, N.H. --It seems more New Hampshire residents are feeling lucky.
The New Hampshire Lottery Commission said lottery ticket sales are up 18 percent compared to this time a year ago.
Sales already have reached $230 million and officials expect they will exceed $260 million for the fiscal year. That would mean more than $78 million for education.
Lottery director Rick Wisler said record-breaking Powerball jackpots attracted many players, as did new products including $20 scratch tickets.
