Powerball Winner Donates $400K For Temple

LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Lincoln Vietnamese Buddhist community receives a big donation from one of the record Powerball jackpot winners.
Quang Dao has given $400,000 to the Linh Quang Buddhist Center for the construction of a new temple. Dao and the seven other Powerball winners each received $15.1 million after taxes.
The Vietnamese community bought 20 acres in 2002 for a new temple. Dao's donation brings the total to $700,000 raised for a project estimated to cost $1.4 million.
Groundbreaking is scheduled for May 13.
