A judge will decide whether the taxpayer should pay the legal costs of a National Lottery millionaire facing an allegation of affray.
Court service officials said former dustman Michael Carroll, 22, who won a £9.7 million National Lottery jackpot less than four years ago, is due to go on trial on Monday at Norwich Crown Court.
The Legal Services Commission, which manages the legal aid system on behalf of the Government, said Carroll have been granted the right to have legal aid.
