Hit Index - indicates the index of the draws which the analyzed number won
in the selected time period.
This example illustrates how the Hit Index is determined.
The following are the 12 draws during the selected time period
from 01/02/1999 to 02/10/1999.
(01) ........ 01/02/1999 02 04 29 31 33 38 <== 33
(02) ........ 01/06/1999 03 13 28 30 39 40 <== 03
(03) ........ 01/09/1999 07 08 23 34 40 44
(04) ........ 01/13/1999 11 17 29 33 46 47 <== 33
(05) ........ 01/16/1999 02 03 19 24 41 44 <== 03
(06) ........ 01/20/1999 17 20 28 35 41 42
(07) ........ 01/23/1999 10 12 13 28 30 36
(08) ........ 01/27/1999 09 11 17 37 38 48
(09) ........ 01/30/1999 10 19 26 32 33 45 <== 33
(10) ........ 02/03/1999 14 15 31 33 43 47 <== 33
(11) ........ 02/06/1999 02 04 23 45 46 48
(12) ........ 02/10/1999 03 06 17 28 40 48 <== 03
If 03 is the number selected to be analyzed, its hit indexes are 2, 5, 12.
If 33 is the number selected to be analyzed, its hit indexes are 1, 4, 9, 10.
The red background on Hit Index 183 means the analyzed number
(which is 03 here) won the last draw in the selected time period.

Rank - orders the Hit Indexes according to the length of the elapse times (how
many draws were skipped) between the prior hit to this hit.
|
 |
Average Elapse Time - tells, on average, how many draws the analyzed number
skipped until it won) during the selected time period.
|
 |
Elapse Time - the draws skipped between two wins. The different colors on the bars
have the following meanings:
- Red:
Elapse times are higher than the average elapse time.
- Green:
Elapse times are equal to the average elapse time.
- Blue:
Elapse times are lower than the average elapse time.

Using the Elapse Time Trend Analysis gives you valuable information on the winning and losing behavior of the
numbers you analyze. This behavior can be used to predict the winning and losing likelihood of numbers in the near future
and is also very reliable in choosing the last digit numbers for multi-state Powerball and Big Games.
By studying the pattern of the curve in the Elapse Time Trend chart, winning and losing trends come immediately to light
in just a glance. You gain immediate insight into when numbers are likely to win and which numbers would be a waste of your money.
Using the Elapse Time Trend Analysis takes some mental discipline on your part. Some of the results of winning and losing
behaviors are straightforward, while others are obscure, chaotic or disordered. To choose numbers likely to win, ignore the
chaos and focus on what is evident. Play a pattern as soon as it appears in the Elapse Time Trend chart.
How do you discern an effective trend? Let's use the examples to illustrate how to spot a pattern in the Elapse Time Trend Analysis:
- Example 1 - Notice that there was no apparent pattern in the first 140 draws in the selected time period.
But some pattern appeared after draw 143 - since its hitting on draw 143, number 16 lost 21 draws then won almost 3 consecutive
draws - draw 165, 167 and 168. Then it lost another 20 draws then won another almost 3 consecutive draws - draw 189, 190 and 192.
As soon as you spot this pattern, what should you do? Notice that the latest draw is 196 and number 16 never hit after draw 192.
You can anticipate that number 16 will hit on draw 212 or 213 - 20 or 21 draws after draw 192. Write a note to remind yourself to
play number 16 for 3, 4 consecutive draws since draw 212.
- Example 2 - Notice that there was a clear pattern from draw 75 - the analyzed number, which is number 26, hit
every other 7~8 draws. So you can predict that number 26 will win in draw 122 or 123.
It is critical, in order to choose "winning" numbers, to grasp the pattern as soon as it appears. There are no fixed rules on
which patterns are more effective than others. If you observe the Elapse Time Trend chart bars forming a trend, grasp it and use
it to predict future trends that you will use in selecting your winning numbers.
Normally, if a number has lost too many draws, it will win frequently as soon as it breaks its long losing streak. For instance,
in Example 2, after number 26 went through a long losing period from draw 3 to draw 35, it won seven times within a
short period of time.
An upward curve of the chart bars and/or the color transition from red to blue normally predicts that a number is cooling off.
By contrast, a downward curve of the chart bars and/or the color transition from blue to red means that a number is getting hot.
Pay close attention and play those numbers that are heating up!
A cautionary note - playing with the Elapse Time Trend Analysis does not work every single time. There are exceptions. Once you find
it does not work, you should stop playing with it in time. For example, in example 2, you follow the trend and play
number 26 in draw 122 and 123. If it does not win in these two draws, play this number at most 2 more draws. If it still does not
win, stop playing number 26 until you spot another pattern.
