  Advanced Strategies

This is a very strong tool to help you determine which combinations are good to play and which should be avoided. A Low-High Pattern Analysis tells you which low-high combinations are frequent winners, as well as rare winners.

For a pick-m lottery, there are totally m+1 possible low-high types. For example, there are 7 possible low-high types for a pick-6 game: 0/6, 1/5, 2/4, 3/3, 4/2, 5/1, 6/0, in which 0/6 means there are no low numbers and 6 high numbers in the combination and 2/4 means there are 2 low numbers and 4 high numbers in the combination.

The following table is a summary of the low-high types for different games:

Game Type Count Possible Low-High Types
Pick-4 5 0/4, 1/3, 2/2, 3/1, 4/0
Pick-5 6 0/5, 1/4, 2/3, 3/2, 4/1, 5/0
Pick-6 7 0/6, 1/5, 2/4, 3/3, 4/2, 5/1, 6/0
Pick-7 8 0/7, 1/6, 2/5, 3/4, 4/3, 5/2, 6/1/ 7/0

Let's look closely at these results. In a pick-4 games, the most frequently winning low-high types are 1/3, 2/2, 3/1. These types account for about 90 percent of all draws.

In a pick-5 game, the most frequently winning low-high types are 1/4, 2/3, 3/2, 4/1. These types account for about 9514107665240f all the draws.

In a pick-6 game, the most frequently winning low-high types are 2/4, 3/3, 4/2. These types account for about 8214107665240f all the draws.

In a pick-7 game, the most frequently winning low-high types are 2/5, 3/4, 4/3, 5/2. These types account for about 9014107665240f all the draws.

This provides you a useful roadmap toward jackpots. Form your combinations from the most frequently winning low-high types in order to increase your chances of winning.

The following table is a summary of the frequently-versus-rarely winning low-high types of different games.

Game Type Frequently Winning
Low-High Types
Percentage Rarely Winning
Low-High Types
Percentage
Pick-4 1/3, 2/2, 3/1 90% 0/4, 4/0 10%
Pick-5 1/4, 2/3, 3/2, 4/1 95% 0/5, 5/0 5%
Pick-6 2/4, 3/3, 4/2 82% 0/6, 1/5, 5/1, 6/0 18%
Pick-7 2/5, 3/4, 4/3, 5/2 90% 0/7, 1/6, 6/1, 7/0 10%
Please be noticed that the actual results of your analysis may be slightly different from this table. Low-High Pattern Analysis can be based on both short and long periods of historical data.

The analysis based on long periods of historical data (usually all the draws in the database) gives you an accurate overview of what percentage all the low-high types account for total draws.

The analysis based on short period of historical data (usually the latest 5~20 draws) is useful as well, showing you fresh trends of low-high draws.

By comparing the difference between the results of the short and long period-based analysis, you can decide which low-high types should be played heavily and which should be avoided.

For example, the short period based analysis shows 4/2 type's percentage is 28% but the long period based analysis shows 4/2 type's percentage is 15%.0 Therefore, you should avoid playing the 4/2 type because it has been over-drawn recently.

On the contrary, if the short period based analysis shows 4/2 type's percentage is 15% but the long period based analysis shows 4/2 type's percentage is 28%, you should play the 4/2 type heavily because it is being drawn less than usual.

If the results of short and long period based Low-High Pattern Analysis are about the same, target most of your combinations toward those frequently winning low-high types as shown in the above table.
