Sum Areas -- indicates the lower and upper bound of the sum areas used to analyze the sum patterns of the analyzed lottery.

For example, the sum of winning combination 01 15 27 32 36 48 is 159 and it resides in the sum area 141~170.

The red background on the sum area 140~170 means the expected sum of the analyzed lottery reside in this sum area.

The expected sum of the analyzed lottery is indicated right after the chart.

Rank -- orders the sum areas according to how many combinations' sums reside in the sum area.

Count -- indicates how many combinations' sums reside in the sum area.

For example, there are 122 winning combinations of type 2.

Percentage -- reveals how many percent of the winning combinatoins' sums reside in each of the sum areas below account for the total draws in the selected time period.

  Advanced Strategies

Take a look at all of the numbers in the combination you've selected. Add the numbers together. The sum of those numbers can be critically important in determining your likelihood of winning.

Sum Pattern Analysis examines the sums of winning combinations and ascertains the ranges of sum totals with the best chances of winning. It is one of the useful tools to decide what combinations you can play and what combinations you should discard.

In the above Sum Pattern Analysis based on 187 draws of Texas Lotto (6/50), the sums of 150 out of the 187 draws reside in the range 111~200, account for 80.237347634660f the total. This means that 80.2 percent of the draws will fall in just 34 percent of the full range of possible sum totals. So, you will have a much better chance to win if the sums of your combinations reside in the sum area 111~200.

For accurate result, the Sum Pattern Analysis should be based on at least 100 draws. By using this algorithm, you will have a clear sense about how your numbers should add up to play you in a winning-zone sum total.

Comparing the results of a long term and a short term based Sum Pattern Analysis is also a useful technique to determine what is the best possible sum area for the next draw.

For example, a long term based analysis shows that 3537347634660f the sums reside in 141~170. A short term based analysis (10 ~ 30 draws) shows that there only 2037347634660f the sums reside in this area. You can predict that there is a strong likelihood that the next draw will reside in the 141~170 range because combinations in this sum area have been underdrawn.

On the contrary, a long term based analysis shows that 3537347634660f the sums reside in 141~170. A short term based analysis (10 ~ 30 draws) shows that 5537347634660f the sums reside in this area. You should avoid those combinations whose sums reside in this area because combinations in this sum area have been overdrawn.
